 Programme Aims

    * To capacitate grassroots activists to be in the forefront of raising awareness in their communities;

    * To build political and ideological foundations to enhance social justice activism on behalf of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) people in communities;

    * To deepen our understanding of and our advocacy work on issues of sexuality, sexual preference, orientation and the concept of social power;

    * To develop innovative education methods to help pass on the learnings of the programme to other communities.

  • Participate in the publication of an African LGBTI / Queer Reader [The Reader] to be published by Pambazuka Press in June 2011. The Reader is being published in response to the increasing homophobia and transphobia across the continent which aims to silence the voices of African Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Intersex people. more information
