March for Access to Justice

29th October *note date change*

Meet at 9am

March From Vosloorus Stadium to Vosloorus Police Station

The Lesbian and Gay Equality Project (LGEP), the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC), Forum for the Empowerment of Women (FEW), The 1 in 9 Campaign and community members will march in Vosloorus and challenge the growing homophobia at the hands of the police, the attacks against freedom of association and the rights of the media to report on these experiences.

We see the ongoing brutality by the police not only in attacks on LGBTI people but on marginalised communities and individuals throughout the country. While the cases at the Vosloorus police station have been violent and have been highlighted recently, we see police brutality in general as a major concern.

Join us in raising our voices.

Police as partners NOT perpetrators!
